I think an explanation is in need. I have definitely been AWOL for the past two months, but i have excuses...kinda. July, i was in Vancouver (or as I affectionately say, Vanc.) for 10 days. Let me tell you! It was amaaazing! I am definitely moving there!! The beaches and views are magnificent and the people are very friendly! (Well no duh! they ARE Canadian!). Next off in the beginning of August I went to New York!! Wow...can't really say much else. We pretty much did everything you do in New York, and soon I will put up a bunch of photos so stay with me guys! The second part of the New York trip we spent in the beauteous Cape Cod. Our cottage was amazing! (If you ever plan to visit look up William Ladd! he has a cottage that is beautiful!!) the clam chowder was...well i didn't have any..but my mom did...she liked it...ANYWAYS we went whale-watching which is too amazing to explain! and in Provincetown (We stayed in Brewster so it took us like an hour and a half to drive up) we experienced gaytown...it was pretty cool.
So that's why I haven't been on, even though i still had time in between...I was...busy...sure. But I will try to write more and check my youtube because I will be posting more videos..but my webcam is crapped, so I have to fix it AGAIN..but other than that it is all good!! so hang in there and have a great rest of summer!!

Lemonade, Airplanes, and New Schools
I didn't have high expectations when i woke up this morning. Wake up. Eat. Watch T.V. Try not to think about the fact that tomorrow is Sunday.
It's exam time here in Canada. Summatives are coming to an end - I have 4 left out of the 8 - and exam week is soon, stress is not uncommon and neither is sweat. We've been going through a heat wave over the past week. Our highest temperature here has been 32 degrees Celsius! (89.6 degrees Fahrenheit) That may not be hot for you Americans, but we live in igloos, and our igloos are melting!
I've been thinking about this summer, i'm going to be pretty busy. Vancouver in July, New York in August. I want to show everyone my trips, to document the events and memories that take place. I think i'm just glad that school will be over. At the beginning of the year, i was such a keener. I did all my homework, every night, loved my classes. Now most of my classes are good, i don't like the work, and i long for the end of the day, the end of the week. I can't believe we get summatives AND exams though. Aren't exams enough torture? now we have to do a huge project too? it's like the high school from hell! except for the fact that most other schools get it too.
Anyways I probably shouldn't be hating on my school, on account of the fact that next year it won't be here anymore. two years shy of it reaching 100 years, we are knocking it doown to make way for our new field, as we move into the new school. A lot of grads are sad, they're not here next year, but they don't want to see their memories torn down. I, being a freshman here, will miss the old school, but i'm just as excited to see the inside of the new one. I think we've put up with hearing the builder's make enough noise to drown out our marching band long enough. I can't help feeling a little cocky over our new school, apparent state-of-the-art facilities make me want to laugh at everyone who won't be going here next year. I know it's bad but hey its my school i deserve to be a little proud of it.
